Natives Know it as "The Caribbean"

Wonder how long it will take them to fix it.

Didn't you know that human proof readers have been replaced by...nothing?

Even worse has happened. Remember this?

I'm "the reader" mentioned in the story, and ever since I've wondered how many other unsupervised software are posting stories and spellings uncorrected (in the print media, the Washington Post has a plague of cut-and-paste repetition and grammatical errors).

I had not seen that one, so thanks, it is awesome.

Product quality is, like labor, theft of shareholder value.

And just because...

One spring day shortly after I moved here from California I was walking my dogs in Germantown, where I lived at the time, in this little subdivision of duplexes with lots of open space all neatly and freshly mowed lawns. In the bright green grass under a tree on the sidewalk I spotted, from a distance, something that I thought might be an animal or at any rate not your usual litter. I walked over and took a look and it was, I swear, a big black cock. A plastic one, with bulging veins and everything. I still wonder how it got there.

Oh, dear. I live in a small, "agricultural" (lots of citrus and avocado orchards)town. There's bike path. One Sunday, I too was out walking the dog, and saw something ahead on the path, couldn't quite make out what it was. It was an erect penis complete with scrotum, not black, sort of a yellowish plastic. I always feel guilty if I throw an apple core out of my car window. Who throws away a plastic penis?

Yellowish plastic?

...adequake food...

Maybe the editor was a bit shaken up.

Wait. Am I going to hell now?

No, but maybe later.

" I still wonder how it got there."

It had probably dropped from the tree once it had reached full ripeness.
